Even better news! The pancreatic specialists at Dallas Presbyterian have decided that Trey's pancreas may heal itself and surgery may not be needed at all. They also don't believe that the infection is gangrene. The fluid that Trey was retaining is leaving by the second. I figure he must have lost about 45 or 50 lbs in the last 36 hours. You can actually tell he has knees!!
He is scheduled for another CT scan, either tomorrow or Monday so Dr's. Wonderful and Marvelous (and I am serious) will know more.
